   {Prayer Requests}
"Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God." - Philippians 4:6
  • Remember Harper Grigsby as she prepares for yet another heart surgery at less than a year old. After seeming to do well for the last few months this has been really hard on her parents, please bless them and the doctors as they go through this tough time! adgrigsby.blogspot.com. Thanks! - Autumn
  • My adopted grandma is in the hospital with an infection in her intestines. The best/only option is surgery, and she can't have surgery. Right now she has a 60/40 percent chance of making it. Keep her and my adopted grandpa in your prayers. Thanks a million! :) - Sarah Elisabeth
  • Also pray for my best friend's brother Kevin. He's fifteen years old and has gone to church all his life, but has never become a Christian. We want so bad for him to take this step! - Autumn
  • Pray for all the people who don't know Christ that they will come to know Him and be saved - Rachel
  • Please pray for a lady in our church who has breast cancer. Erin has 3 kids: 4, 3, and 18 months. You can read about her at erinfray.blogspot.com. - Artiss
  • Please continue to pray for Rebekah's cousin Karen, who has breast cancer. She has five children, and her husband is in the military! Thank you!
  • Pray that God will show Himself to a girl in Elly's gym class and He will change her heart!
  • Please pray for a Chinese family who is under a lot of pressure. Thanks! -Loice

  • Don't forget to send us your prayer requests so we can publish them, or keep them a secret!

    16 Happy Birthday Sarah Elisabeth!!!
Sarah's celebrating her sweet 16 on March 31st. She loves playing any sport, piano, riding horses, and hanging out with friends. Thanks for counting me in that circle girl - you know how it's done! You're a great friend and I love you so much. People may think we're crazy, but we do our own thing. Thanks for keeping me accountable in all our wacko resolutions, especially this newsletter. It's been awesome for both of us and I hope we get to keep it up for a long time :) <3 autumn

    Growing in Christ
•Springtime. Definitely a happy and cheerful time. It's when flowers start popping up all over the place, the grass gets greener, and everything starts to grow. Just like the four seasons in our year, we, as Christians, have seasons in our lives.
    •Our seasons
-A time to be born and get started. This is the spring of our lives. 2 Corinthians 5:17 says "If any man be in Christ he is a new creature, old things are passed away, behold all things are become new." When we accept Jesus into our hearts we have become new. It's just like being born again. As new believers we are a lot like little babies. We need a lot of care and attention as well as food. For new Christians I'm not talking about actual food. ;) I'm talking about spiritual food. As Christians our food is the Word of God. God is our source of strength. We rely on Him to get us through every day and to teach us.
-Growing takes a lot of work. It takes commitment and devotion. We can grow by reading the Bible, praying, and serving God. Over time we will grow stronger, if we continue to stay devoted to Christ. 2 Peter 3:18 says "But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and forever. Amen."
-This month I encourage you to seek the Lord. 1) Read His Word. Study the Bible. 2) Have a conversation with Him. Remember, He always hears you when you pray and He is your friend. 3) Serve God. Find a way that you can serve Him. It could be something as simple as helping your mom make supper or it could be something as big as joining the choir at church or telling somebody about how much God loves them. Whatever you do, do it for God! Also, I would love to hear how you have served our Heavenly Father and learn what you have been reading in your Bible. Hope to hear back from ya'll!

P.S. I will be doing the other 3 seasons as their corresponding seasons come up! :)
God is GREAT! God is GOOD!

    Wh0 Pa!nts the $kies?

I'm an artist. I paint, draw, doodle, whatever. When I grow up... haha... I want to be a graphic designer. I love art! In fact, every time I pick up a pen/pencil and start doodling, I think I develop my brain a little more. Sometimes I don't feel very smart. I can't focus on a book at all, even if it's important and I desperately need to, but I can draw for hours. But that's the talent God has given me. I can draw anything. Not that I always want to. But when people ask me how, I really don't know how to answer. It comes natural to me. Everything I draw or paint was painted by God first. All I do is copy it! He created all of it before I was ever born and I'm so glad He blessed me with the talent to copy what I see, that he created, with my brushes and paints. He is THE artist! Praise Him! Sometimes people laugh when I tell them I paint all the time. You see, I may not have a brush in my hand, but when I'm riding in the car anywhere I am painting in my mind. The strokes He makes are so clear and perfect. I love picking out what brush to use for each one (yes, still mentally ;) and yet He does it all in one breath. This time of year is a great reminder of His creativity. It is unfathomable.

I've actually never heard this song, but I saw the lyrics a while back and they have stuck with me ever since, so I thought I would share them with ya'll today. Thank you Google!

Who paints the skies into glorious day?
    Only the splendor of Jesus
Who breathes his life into fists of clay?
    Only the splendor of Jesus
Who shapes the valleys and brings the rain?
    Only the splendor of Jesus
Who makes the desert to live again?
    Only the splendor of Jesus

Teach every nation His marvelous ways
Each generation shall sing His praise

    He is wonderful
    He is glorious
    Clothed in righteousness
    Full of tenderness
    Come and worship him
He is the prince of light
    He will cleanse our hearts
    In his river of fire

As this spring comes and goes, ya'll look around at God's power and thank Him for it. It is so beautiful. It is His way of saying He loves you. He has the same power and creativity in each of our lives, and He is molding them into His perfect vessel as we speak. Did I mention He's a great sculptor too? Let Him have His handiwork! And let your smile be sunshine to the world for Jesus :)

    keep smiling,
